On 4 January 2021, the University of the Philippines Manila – Technology Transfer Office and Business Development Office (UPM-TTBDO) hosted the first working-day virtual flag ceremony of 2021 for the university via Zoom.
In line with the new year celebration, Chancellor Carmencita D. Padilla gave an inspirational message addressed to the UP Manila employees on what to expect this year in the university. Vice Chancellors Dr. Armando Crisostomo (Research), Dr. Arlene Samaniego (Administration), and Dr. Nymia Pimentel-Simbulan (Academic Affairs) were also present during the ceremony. The ceremony ended with a Zumba workout video presentation by UPM-TTBDO to advocate for a healthier work-from-home lifestyle this 2021.
UPM-TTBDO is looking forward to more disclosures and partnerships with industries this year. (MMViñas)
