DOST-StARTT’s Technology Transfer Day features UPM health and wellness technologies

DOST-CALABARZON, in partnership with the DOST Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology for Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) and DOST Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), organized a crowning activity for DOST’s Strategy to Accelerate and Revitalize Technology Transfer (StARTT) in CALABARZON on May 7, 2021.

The event featured the pitchings of the three technology handled by the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office of the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM-TTBDO) – Yerba Buena, Tuklas Lunas Technologies: Anti-hypertensive and Citroginol, along with the other nine technologies from various Research and Development Institutes and State Universities, and Colleges from Region IV-A and NCR to the possible technology adopters, which comprised of investors, manufacturers, local government units, and non-government organizations.

The said event is the last phase of StARTT activities to develop synergistic support for the 12 technology creators and their possible adopters. (CGSanchez)
