The UP Manila Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (UPM-TTBDO) welcomes all members of the UPM Community with inquiries related to intellectual property and technology transfer. As the University’s dedicated office for IP management and technology utilization, UPM-TTBDO provides advisory services to support researchers, faculty, staff, and students throughout the innovation lifecycle.

Our team offers guidance on a wide range of concerns, including assistance in the identification and protection of intellectual property, evaluation of inventions for potential utilization and development of technology roadmaps, patent and prior art considerations, and strategies for licensing and industry engagement. We also assist in navigating institutional policies and relevant laws, helping ensure that innovations are properly safeguarded and positioned for maximum impact.

Our office is located on the 2nd Floor of the UP Manila Main Building, Joaquin Gonzales Compound, Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila, Philippines. It operates from Monday to Friday, with office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
