
UP Manila was honored with the Palladium Award and Platinum Award by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines during the ITSO President Summit and General Assembly on 25 March 2026 held in Iloilo City. These awards were given in recognition of the university’s outstanding contributions to intellectual property generation and innovation.
This achievement reflects the dedication of our researchers, innovators, and the entire UP Manila community, supported by the UP Manila Technology Transfer and Business Development Office, in advancing technologies that serve the public good.
Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension Leslie Michelle M. Dalmacio, TTBDO Director Lourdes Marie S. Tejero, and TTBDO Technology and IP Manager Kevin L. Ocampo received the award on behalf of the University.
This milestone further inspires the UPM TTBDO to continue working hard in strengthening intellectual property protection, supporting our innovators, and translating research into meaningful impact for society.
