DESCRIPTION

RxBox Telemetry System (Telemetry) is a biomedical device that allows Health Care Workers specifically nurses to remotely monitor the vital signs of patients in COVID Wards through a monitoring dashboard, it uses the existing RxBox device with the newly developed telemetry software application called Lifeline.

MARKET APPLICATIONS AND COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a spike of patients and overwhelmed the available manpower needed in hospitals especially in the Philippines.

The RxBox Telemetry System (Telemetry) aims to aid the Healthcare workers and optimize the available manpower using the technology by assisting with immediate logging, tracking, and monitoring of vital signs of each patient at the same time decreasing the exposure of the HCW to high-risk wards.

 

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Technology developed a new sensor for measuring Respiratory Rate {RR} based on thermistor technology and is approved by the REB for clinical testing. More depth market study is to be conducted.
