DESCRIPTION

The recent outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the global demand for personal protective equipment, including PAPR’s. In the Philippines, the lack of personal protective equipment is still a problem in some medical facilities.

The technology, Powered Air Purifying Respirator “PAPR”, is a respirator that protects the user by filtering out contaminants in the air and uses a battery-operated blower to provide the user with clean air through a tight-fitting respirator, a loose-fitting hood, or a helmet.
