Endodontic infections are caused by pathological endodontic microorganisms that invade the root canal system and release toxic metabolites. to address the problem, endodontic treatment is given however, debris is often left behind post-treatment and re-infection occurs. unfortunately, the resistance to oral microflora has increased against antibiotics during the past decades.

According to the Philippines Dental Care Market Outlook to 2019 by Ken Research, the growth in the dental care market of the Philippines has been spurred by the rising elderly population, changing lifestyles leading to oral problems, increased healthcare expenditure by the government as well as households. Steady growth and popularity of the industry in the country are expected to further drive the demand for premium quality consumables and advanced equipment for diagnosis and treatment in the future.
